Sensitive to noise
Works but picked up some noise. Added a capacitor and it was fine. Instructions could be better.

Good sensor, needs calibration
Solid build quality. You need to calibrate it for accurate lux readings but for relative light sensing it is great.

Fast and Reliable
Used this for a line follower robot light detection. Very responsive.
Q: Does this come with a library?
A: This is a basic analog sensor, so no specific library is needed. You simply read the analog pin value.
Q: What is the maximum lux it can measure?
A: It is designed for ambient light, typically saturating around 1000-2000 lux depending on your resistor setup.
Q: Can I use this with 3.3V logic?
A: Yes, the module operates between 2.7V and 5.5V, so 3.3V systems like ESP32 are compatible.
Q: Is the output linear?
A: The output voltage is roughly proportional to light intensity, but calibration is recommended for precise measurements.
Q: Can I use this outdoors?
A: It is not waterproof. If used outdoors, please enclose it in a weatherproof case.
