Good sensitivity range
Had to adjust the potentiometer a bit to get the right trigger level, but once set, it works consistently. Great value for the price.

Whistle trigger is fun
Kids love turning lights on and off by clapping or whistling. Easy to wire up with an Arduino Uno and a relay module.

Great value for hobby electronics. Note that headers are not included, so you need to solder them yourself.

A: This module detects sound amplitude (volume) rather than specific frequencies. It triggers based on intensity.
Q: Is the output signal latching or momentary?
A: The output is momentary. It goes high when sound is detected and returns low when the sound stops.
Q: What is the maximum recommended cable length for the output?
A: For stable signal integrity, we recommend keeping connection wires under 1 meter in length.
Q: Does the package include pin headers?
A: No, the module comes without pre-soldered headers. You will need to solder your own pins for breadboard use.
