Good accuracy after warm-up
Works well once the initial calibration period is over. Make sure to let it run for a few days for best eCO2 accuracy.
Q: What is the expected lifespan of the sensor?
A: Under normal operating conditions, the sensor has a lifespan of approximately 10 years.
Q: Does humidity affect the readings?
A: The sensor has built-in compensation for humidity, but extreme conditions outside the operating range may impact accuracy.
Q: Is this compatible with 5V Arduino boards?
A: Yes, but you need a logic level converter since the sensor operates at 1.8V to 3.6V. Do not connect directly to 5V GPIO pins.
Q: How long does the initial calibration take?
A: The sensor performs auto-calibration over time. For best eCO2 accuracy, we recommend running it in a well-ventilated area for at least 7 days.
Q: Can this detect carbon monoxide?
A: No, this module measures TVOC and eCO2. It is not designed for detecting specific dangerous gases like Carbon Monoxide.
