Excellent Build Quality
Solid PCB and good soldering quality. The pins are standard spacing which makes breadboarding very easy. Highly recommend for hobbyists.

Great for Arduino Projects

Okay for Hobby Use

Good Sensitivity
The sensor is quite sensitive to sunlight changes. It needs a bit of calibration in the code to get precise readings, but overall a good module for the price.
Q: Is the module waterproof for outdoor use?
A: No, the PCB is not waterproof. If using outdoors, please house it in a waterproof enclosure with a UV-transparent window.
Q: What is the maximum voltage this can handle?
A: We recommend operating between 3.3V and 5V. Exceeding 5V may damage the sensor component on the module.
Q: Is this module compatible with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, but since Raspberry Pi GPIOs are digital, you will need an external ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) like the MCP3008 to read the analog output.
Q: Can this detect UV from welding arcs?
A: The sensor can detect UV radiation from various sources including welding. However, please ensure proper safety measures when working with welding equipment.
Q: Does this come with header pins soldered?
