Documentation could be clearer
The sensor works but the pinout diagram in the manual was slightly confusing. Had to contact support to confirm UART pins.

Fast response time
Noticed the readings update very quickly when testing with incense. Great sensitivity for fine dust detection.
Q: What is the default baud rate for UART communication?
A: The default baud rate is 9600 bps, but it can be configured via specific command sets.
Q: Is the fan included in the module housing?
A: Yes, the ZH06 series includes a built-in fan to ensure consistent airflow through the laser chamber.
Q: Can this be used for outdoor weather stations?
A: It is designed for indoor use. Exposure to rain or high humidity outside the operating range may damage the sensor.
Q: Does this require regular calibration by the user?
A: No, the module comes factory calibrated. Recalibration is not typically required during its standard lifespan.
Q: Can this sensor operate on 3.3V logic levels?
A: While the module runs on 5V power, the UART TX pin is 5V TTL. We recommend using a level shifter for 3.3V MCUs.
