Instructions could be better
Module works but wiring wasn't clear in the package. Had to look up online tutorials to confirm the pinout. Sensor itself is fine.

Perfect for my alarm project
Works exactly as described. I connected it to my Arduino Uno and the sample code worked immediately. Great sensitivity.
Q: Can I use this module outdoors?
A: It is not weatherproof. You would need to place it inside a waterproof enclosure for outdoor use.
Q: How do I adjust sensitivity?
A: There are two potentiometers on the board. One controls time delay and the other controls sensitivity distance.
Q: Does this work with 3.3V logic boards?
A: Yes, the output signal is 3.3V TTL compatible, so it works safely with Raspberry Pi and ESP8266.
Q: Does it detect small pets?
A: It detects heat motion. Small pets may trigger it depending on sensitivity settings and distance.
Q: What is the pinout configuration?
A: The pins are labeled VCC, OUT, and GND. VCC is power, OUT is signal, and GND is ground.
