Solid performance
Does exactly what it says. The LEDs are bright enough to see status clearly. Cable could be longer but manageable.
Q: Is this compatible with 5V Arduino boards?
A: Yes, the module operates between 3V and 30V, so 5V logic works perfectly.
Q: Can it detect black objects reliably?
A: Dark colors absorb infrared light, which may reduce the effective detection distance. We recommend testing with your specific target.
Q: What is the wiring configuration?
A: Brown is VCC, Blue is GND, and Black is the Signal Output. Please refer to the datasheet for diagrams.
Q: Can I use this outdoors?
A: Strong sunlight contains infrared radiation which may interfere with performance. It is best suited for indoor use.
Q: Is the output Normally Open or Normally Closed?
A: The output is NPN Open Collector. It pulls low when an object is detected.
