Great value for money
Bought five for various uses around the house. They are compact and the build quality seems solid for the price point. Highly recommend for hobbyists.

Good but needs calibration
Works well once adjusted. Out of the box it was a bit too sensitive for my liking, but after tuning the screw it works exactly as I needed for my vibration monitor.

Perfect for my Arduino alarm
Easy to wire and very sensitive. I used this for a simple box alarm project and it triggered reliably when the table was bumped. The potentiometer makes it easy to adjust false triggers.

Reliable vibration detection
Using it for a project box security system. The digital output makes it very simple to interface with microcontrollers without needing analog pins.

Does the job
Simple module, works as expected. No documentation included but there are plenty of tutorials online for the SW-420. Shipping was fast.

A: No, this PCB is not waterproof. It is designed for indoor use or must be placed inside a weatherproof enclosure for outdoor applications.
Q: Can I use this with a Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, this module is compatible with 3.3V logic levels used by Raspberry Pi. Just ensure you connect the VCC to the 3.3V pin.
Q: Is the output normally open or closed?
A: The module is designed as a Normally Closed vibration sensor. The output state changes when vibration exceeds the threshold set by the potentiometer.
