Excellent for ROS2 Projects

Integrated smoothly with my Ubuntu setup. The ROS2 drivers worked out of the box without much configuration. Data accuracy is impressive for the price point.

Documentation needs improvement

Hardware is solid but the wiki links were broken initially. Had to contact support to get the latest SDK. Works fine now though.

Perfect for Autonomous Rover

Used this for a university robotics project. The 9-axis data fusion is reliable and the update rate is sufficient for real-time control loops.

Good accuracy after calibration

Sensor works well but requires initial calibration to get the best magnetometer readings. Once calibrated, the attitude estimation is very stable.

A: Yes, the SDK includes a Windows and Linux tool for magnetic and accelerometer calibration.

Q: Can it be used outdoors?

A: Yes, the operating temperature range supports outdoor use. However, ensure the enclosure is waterproof if exposed to rain.

Q: Is the cable length sufficient?

A: It comes with a 20cm cable. Extensions are sold separately if you need longer reach for your setup.

Q: Does this support ROS2 Foxy?

A: Yes, it supports most major distributions including Foxy, Humble, and Iron. Please check the GitHub repo for specific branch instructions.

Q: What connector type is used?
