Good but needs tuning
Works well once you get the sensitivity right. Initially it was too sensitive to humidity, but after adjusting the pot it works great on my plastic container.

Bought for student projects
Purchased a batch for our robotics club. Students find them easy to use for liquid level alarms. Durable enough for classroom use.

Perfect for my aquarium auto-fill
This sensor works exactly as described. I mounted it outside my glass tank and it triggers the pump reliably. No corrosion issues since it doesn't touch the water.

Compact and reliable
Small footprint allows me to hide it easily behind my water dispenser. The green LED is bright enough to see status at a glance.

Easy to integrate
Connected this to my Arduino Uno without any issues. The sensitivity knob makes calibration very simple. Great value for the price.
Q: Can this detect water through a thick plastic container?
A: It depends on the material thickness. Generally, it works best with containers up to 10mm thick. Non-metallic containers are required.
Q: What is the difference between M03 and M04?
A: The primary difference is the physical size and shape of the PCB. The functionality and electrical specifications are virtually identical.
Q: Does this work with a Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, since it outputs a digital TTL signal, it is compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins. Ensure you match the voltage levels.
Q: Is the entire module waterproof?
A: The sensor detection area is coated for water resistance, but the electronic components and pins should not be submerged. Mount outside the container.
Q: Can I use this for fuel level detection?
A: This module is designed for water and non-corrosive liquids. We do not recommend using it for flammable fuels due to safety regulations.
