Good value for money
Solid build quality. The cable could be a bit longer for some industrial applications, but for hobby electronics, it's great.

Reliable detection
We used ten of these for a school project. All of them worked consistently. No false positives detected.

Easy to integrate
Connected directly to my ESP32 without any issues. The digital output makes coding very straightforward.

Works well after calibration
Took a little tweaking to get the sensitivity right for my specific container, but once set, it hasn't failed.

Perfect for my aquarium project
Works exactly as described. Easy to calibrate with the potentiometer. Used it to monitor water levels in my automated plant system.
Q: Can this sensor detect oil levels or just water?
A: This sensor is designed primarily for conductive liquids like water. For non-conductive liquids like oil, performance may vary.
Q: Is this waterproof or just the probe?
A: The probe is waterproof, but the PCB module itself should be kept dry or housed in an enclosure.
Q: What is the maximum current this module can handle?
A: This is a signal sensor module, not a power relay. It should only be connected to microcontroller GPIO pins.
Q: Can I extend the cable length?
A: Yes, you can extend the cable, but ensure you use shielded wire to prevent signal interference.
Q: Is the output HIGH or LOW when water is detected?
A: The output logic can be adjusted, but typically it goes LOW when water is detected and HIGH when dry.
