Good value
Solid module for the price. Brightness is decent but not adjustable without PWM. Shipping was fast.

Great for Arduino projects
Works perfectly with my Uno board. The laser is bright enough for indoor alignment tasks. Easy to wire up.

Pin layout confusing
The module works but the pinout wasn't clearly marked on the board itself. Had to look up a diagram online.
Q: Is this laser powerful enough to burn materials?
A: No, this is a low-power indicator laser module intended for signaling and detection, not cutting or burning.
Q: Can I control the brightness using PWM?
A: Yes, you can modulate the signal pin with PWM to adjust the perceived brightness of the laser.
Q: Which pin is the signal input?
A: Typically the middle pin is VCC, but please refer to the included diagram as layouts can vary by batch.
Q: Does it come with connecting wires?
A: Yes, the package includes one Dupont cable for easy connection to breadboards.
Q: Can I use this with a 3.3V microcontroller?
A: Yes, this module supports an operating voltage range of 3.3V to 5V DC.
