Good but needs tuning
Works well overall. Had to spend some time adjusting the sensitivity gates in the app to avoid false positives from ceiling fans. Once tuned, it's solid.

Very Sensitive
The sensitivity is impressive. It detects breathing movements which helps keep the lights on when I'm reading. Bluetooth configuration was straightforward.

Great Upgrade from PIR
Finally a sensor that doesn't turn off the lights while I'm working at my computer. The micro-motion detection is a game changer for automation.

Reliable Module
Been running this for three months without issues. The UART output is clean and easy to parse with an ESP32. Highly recommend for DIY projects.

Perfect for Home Assistant
Integrated this into my smart home setup easily. The presence detection is much better than standard PIR sensors. It knows I'm sitting at my desk even when I'm not moving much.
Q: Can it detect presence through a thin wall?
A: No, mmWave radar signals cannot penetrate walls. It requires a line of sight within the detection angle.
Q: Is this compatible with Home Assistant?
A: Yes, this module is widely used with Home Assistant via ESPHome or native UART integration.
Q: What power supply do you recommend?
A: A stable 5V DC power supply capable of delivering at least 100mA is recommended for stable operation.
Q: Does the heartbeat feature measure BPM?
A: No, the heartbeat detection is used for presence confirmation via micro-motions, not for medical heart rate monitoring.
Q: How do I update the firmware?
A: Firmware updates and configuration are handled via the Bluetooth mobile app provided by the manufacturer.
