Perfect for Smart Lighting
Replaced my PIR sensors with this. No more lights turning off while I'm reading. Very stable detection.
Q: Can it detect people through drywall?
A: No, 24GHz radar cannot penetrate solid walls effectively for presence detection.
Q: What baud rate should I use?
A: The default baud rate is 256000 for configuration commands.
Q: Does it require 3.3V or 5V?
A: The module operates on 5V DC, but the UART logic is 3.3V tolerant.
Q: What is the maximum detection distance?
A: It can be configured up to 6 meters depending on your sensitivity settings.
Q: Is this compatible with ESPHome?
A: Yes, there are custom components available for ESPHome integration.
