Good value sensor
Solid performance for the price. Just remember it needs 5V logic levels for best results.
Q: Can this run on 3.3V logic?
A: The module requires 5V power, but echo output is 5V. Use a voltage divider for 3.3V MCUs.
Q: Is there a library available?
A: Yes, many Arduino and STM32 libraries support HC-SR04 out of the box.
Q: What is the accuracy?
A: Typical accuracy is around 3mm under ideal conditions.
Q: Does it work underwater?
A: No, this is an air-based ultrasonic sensor. It is not waterproof.
Q: Can I use multiple sensors?
A: Yes, but ensure trigger pins are managed sequentially to avoid cross-talk.
