Perfect for Arduino Projects
Works exactly as described. Easy to wire up with my Uno board. Sensitivity potentiometers are very responsive.

Had some issues with false triggers near a heater. Once moved away, it worked fine. Good for the price.

Good sensor, tricky calibration
The detection range is good but took some time to calibrate the delay time correctly. Otherwise solid build.

Great value for money
Comparable to more expensive modules. The TTL output makes integration with microcontrollers very straightforward.
Q: How do I adjust the sensitivity?
A: There are two potentiometers on the board. One controls delay time, the other controls sensitivity range.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor use?
A: The module itself is not waterproof. You need to house it in a waterproof enclosure for outdoor applications.
Q: What is the maximum detection distance?
A: Typically up to 7 meters in ideal conditions, but 3-5 meters is more reliable for human detection.
Q: Can this run on 3.3V logic?
A: Yes, the output is 3.3V TTL compatible, but input voltage should be at least 4.5V for stable operation.
Q: Does it work with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, connect the VCC to 5V, GND to GND, and OUT to a GPIO pin configured as input.
