Confusing wiring at first
Took me a while to figure out the DO vs AO pins. Works once connected correctly.

Good sensor, limited range
Detects candle flame well at close range. Don't expect long distance detection for large fires.

Perfect for science fair
Easy to wire and understand. Documentation could be better but plenty of online tutorials available.

Reliable component
Used multiple units for a prototype. Consistent performance across all modules purchased.
Q: Can this detect sunlight?
A: It is sensitive to infrared, so direct sunlight may trigger it. Use shielding for outdoor use.
Q: Can I connect multiple sensors?
A: Yes, you can connect multiple modules to different input pins on your microcontroller.
Q: What is the response time?
A: Typically responds within 15 microseconds of flame exposure.
Q: Does it work with Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, but ensure voltage levels match GPIO requirements (3.3V logic).
Q: Is this suitable for home fire alarms?
A: This is for hobby/prototype use. Not certified for life-safety applications.
