One defective unit
Ordered a pack. Four worked great, one did not respond. Seller replaced it quickly though.

Solid basic sensor
If you need high precision, look elsewhere. For general home automation triggers, this is perfect and cheap.

Great for school projects
Bought five for a class project. All worked out of the box. Humidity readings seem accurate compared to a hygrometer.

Good value but slow
Reliable sensor for the price. Just remember it has a 1-second sampling rate limit. Not for rapid changes.

Perfect for Arduino Projects
Works exactly as expected. Easy to wire up with the standard library. Readings are consistent for indoor monitoring.
Q: Does this work with 3.3V logic?
A: Yes, it operates between 3.3V and 5.5V. Suitable for ESP32 and Raspberry Pi GPIO.
Q: What is the sampling rate?
A: The sensor requires at least 1 second between readings to ensure data integrity.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof?
A: No, the DHT11 is not waterproof. Please keep it in a dry environment.
Q: Which library should I use?
A: The standard DHT sensor library by Adafruit works perfectly with this module.
Q: How many pins need connecting?
A: Usually 3 pins are used: VCC, Data, and GND. The third pin is often NC (No Connect).
