Great for beginners
Works perfectly with my Arduino Uno. The sensitivity potentiometers make it easy to calibrate for different surfaces. Highly recommend for student projects.

Good value
Sensitivity needs tuning out of the box but works well once adjusted. The 5 channels provide good resolution for line tracking.

Okay product
Works but the detection range is shorter than I expected. You need to mount it very close to the ground for best results.
Q: Can I use this sensor outdoors?
A: Outdoor use is not recommended as strong sunlight can interfere with the infrared detection accuracy.
Q: Is example code included in the package?
A: Physical code is not included, but you can find many open-source libraries and examples online for Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
Q: What is the maximum speed for line tracking?
A: This depends on your microcontroller processing speed, but the sensor response time is fast enough for most hobby robotics.
Q: Can it detect black tape on a white floor?
A: Yes, this sensor is designed specifically for detecting contrast between dark lines and light surfaces.
Q: Does this work with 3.3V logic levels?
A: Yes, the module operates between 3.3V and 5V, making it compatible with most 3.3V microcontrollers.
