Okay product
Wish it came with a cable harness. Had to solder my own headers which took extra time. Sensor works fine though.

Perfect for Arduino Projects
Works perfectly for my sumo robot. Calibration is easy with the potentiometers on each channel. Highly recommend for hobbyists.

Highly sensitive
Detects lines very accurately even at higher speeds. The 8 channels provide great resolution for smooth turning.
Q: What is the maximum current draw?
A: The module draws approximately 20mA per channel when active, plus standby current for the LEDs.
Q: Can it detect colored lines like red or blue?
A: It detects contrast rather than specific colors. It works best with dark lines on light surfaces or vice versa.
Q: Is this compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO?
A: Yes, this module is compatible with Raspberry Pi GPIO pins as long as you match the voltage levels.
Q: Does it come with mounting screws?
A: No, mounting screws are not included in the package. Standard 3mm screws fit the holes.
Q: Is the detection distance fixed?
A: No, the detection distance is adjustable via the potentiometer located on the PCB for each channel.
