Good but needs calibration
Works well once you calibrate the threshold. Instructions could be clearer but overall happy with the purchase.

Perfect for my smart garden
Much better than the resistive ones that corrode quickly. Works flawlessly with my Arduino setup and the readings are stable.

Stable readings
I've tested this against a professional meter and the readings are surprisingly accurate for the price. Highly recommended.

Easy to use
Plug and play with my ESP8266. The analog output is smooth and easy to read in code. Good value for money.

No more corrosion!
Finally a sensor that doesn't eat itself away in the soil. Highly recommend for long term projects outdoors.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof?
A: The probe is corrosion resistant and can be buried, but the electronic board should be kept dry or coated.
Q: What is the cable length?
A: The included cable is approximately 20cm long, suitable for most pot setups.
Q: Does it work with 3.3V logic?
A: Yes, it operates comfortably between 3.3V and 5V DC.
Q: How do I connect it to Raspberry Pi?
A: Connect VCC to 5V, GND to GND, and AO to an ADC pin since Pi lacks native analog input.
Q: Can I use this for hydroponics?
A: It is designed for soil moisture. For water level, a different sensor is recommended.
