Readings are accurate once connected properly. Make sure to check the voltage levels if using with 5V logic boards.

Compared to professional equipment, this module holds up surprisingly well for the price point. Highly recommended.
Q: Is this module 5V tolerant?
A: Yes, the module includes a voltage regulator and level shifter, making it safe for 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
Q: Will I receive the BMP180 or BMP280 chip?
A: Orders are fulfilled based on stock. Both chips are pin-compatible and work with similar libraries.
Q: Which library do you recommend for Arduino?
A: We recommend the Adafruit BMP280 library or the Bosch BME280 library, both are compatible with this sensor.
Q: Is this sensor waterproof?
A: No, the module is not waterproof. Please house it in a protective enclosure if used outdoors.
Q: What is the maximum altitude it can measure?
A: The sensor can measure altitude up to approximately 9,000 meters above sea level with good accuracy.
