Great addition
Small footprint and provides all the environmental data I need.
Q: Which library do you recommend?
A: We recommend the Adafruit BME680 library for Arduino and Python.
Q: What is the default I2C address?
A: The default address is 0x76, but it can be changed to 0x77 via SDO pin.
Q: Is this module 5V tolerant?
A: The sensor operates at 3.3V. Use a logic level converter for 5V MCUs.
Q: How long for gas sensor stabilization?
A: Typically 48 hours of continuous operation is recommended for accuracy.
Q: Can it measure altitude accurately?
A: Yes, using pressure data it can estimate altitude with ±1 meter accuracy.
