Fast shipping and great quality
Arrived quickly and was well packaged in anti-static bag. Tested all three axes and they respond correctly to gravity. No dead pixels or issues.

Excellent for Arduino projects
This sensor module worked straight out of the box with my Arduino Uno. The I2C communication is stable and the data readings are consistent. Great for learning about acceleration and tilt.

Documentation could be better
The hardware works fine, but finding clear wiring diagrams for SPI mode was challenging. I2C works perfectly though. Just wish the manual was more detailed.

Precise tilt detection
I used this for a self-balancing robot project. The sensitivity is adjustable and the noise levels are low enough for basic stabilization. Highly recommended for hobbyists.

Good value but needs headers
The sensor itself is accurate and reliable. However, I had to solder my own pin headers as they were not included in the package. Once set up, it performs well.
Q: Can I use this for vibration monitoring?
A: Yes, the high bandwidth makes it suitable for detecting vibration patterns in machinery or structures.
Q: Is this module compatible with 5V Raspberry Pi?
A: Yes, the module supports 3.3V to 5V logic levels, making it compatible with most Raspberry Pi models.
Q: Does this measure absolute orientation?
A: It measures acceleration including gravity. You can calculate tilt angles, but it is not a full IMU with gyroscopes for absolute orientation.
Q: What is the maximum data rate?
A: The ADXL345 supports data rates up to 3200 Hz, configurable via the register settings.
Q: What library do you recommend?
A: We recommend using the Adafruit ADXL345 library for Arduino IDE, as it is well maintained and easy to use.
