Excellent travel companion
I purchased the 36-inch model as a travel guitar. It is small enough to fit in overhead bins but still sounds full and resonant. The build quality feels very sturdy.

Great value, minor setup needed
The 39-inch version is excellent for the price. The tone is warm and clear. I had to lower the action slightly at the saddle, but once set up, it plays beautifully. Highly recommended for students.

Exceeded expectations
I was skeptical about the price point, but this guitar delivers. The satin finish looks elegant, and the intonation is accurate up the neck. A fantastic choice for beginners and intermediate players alike.

Good starter instrument
My son is learning classical guitar at school, and this 41-inch full-size model works great for him. The neck is comfortable, and the tuning stability is good after the initial string stretch.

Perfect first guitar for my daughter
We bought the 34-inch model for our 7-year-old, and it fits her perfectly. The solid top gives it a surprisingly rich sound for a beginner instrument. She loves practicing on it every day.

Impressive sound quality
As a music teacher, I recommend these to all my beginner students. The solid spruce top really makes a difference in projection and tone compared to all-laminate guitars in this price range.
Q: Can I use this guitar for flamenco playing?
A: While designed primarily for classical music, many students successfully use this guitar for beginning flamenco techniques due to its responsive nylon strings and comfortable action. However, it does not have a specific flamenco tap plate installed.
Q: Are the strings nylon or steel?
A: This is a classical guitar, so it comes strung with standard nylon strings. Please do not use steel strings as they can damage the bridge and neck of the instrument.
Q: Which size should I choose for a 10-year-old child?
A: For a 10-year-old, we typically recommend the 36" or 39" model depending on their height and arm length. The 36" is great for smaller frames, while the 39" offers a bit more room as they grow.
Q: Does this guitar come with a hard case?
A: No, this model comes with a high-quality padded gig bag for protection and portability. Hard cases can be purchased separately if you need extra durability for travel.
Q: Is the solid top made of spruce or cedar?
A: The Martin Miss Beginner Classical Guitar features a Solid Spruce top, which provides a bright, clear tone with excellent projection that improves as the wood ages.
