These bushings replaced the old oil-lubricated ones perfectly. The self-lubricating feature keeps our production line clean and running smoothly without constant maintenance.
Q: Are these compatible with stainless steel shafts?
A: Yes, these copper-based alloy bushings are fully compatible with hardened stainless steel shafts and will not cause galling under normal operating conditions.
Q: Can I cut the 35mm length bushing to 28mm myself?
A: We do not recommend cutting the bushings yourself as it may damage the graphite inserts or alter the tolerance. Please order the specific length you require from our available options (15, 20, 25, 30, 35mm).
Q: Do I need to apply any grease during installation?
A: No additional grease is required. The embedded graphite plugs provide sufficient lubrication during the break-in period and throughout the product's life. Applying external grease may attract debris.
Q: What is the maximum static load capacity for the 22x32x30mm size?
A: For the 22x32x30mm dimension, the maximum static load capacity is approximately 60 N/mm². Please consult the detailed engineering datasheet for dynamic load ratings specific to your speed.
Q: Can these bushings be used in submerged water applications?
A: While the copper alloy is corrosion-resistant, these self-lubricating graphite bushings are primarily designed for dry or semi-dry environments. Prolonged submersion may wash out the graphite lubricant over time.
