Solid performance, minor calibration needed
The build quality is excellent. I had to run a flow calibration after installing, but once done, the print quality improved significantly compared to the stock brass nozzle.

Essential for professional work
We use this in our production environment. The consistency in extrusion at high temperatures has reduced our failed prints by a significant margin.

Perfect for abrasive filaments
Finally upgraded to the hardened steel hotend and it handles carbon fiber PLA without any wear. The installation on my X1C was straightforward and took less than 10 minutes.

Great upgrade for high temp printing
I needed something reliable for ABS and ASA prints. This 3.0 version maintains temperature very well and the detachable design makes swapping nozzles a breeze.

Durable and efficient
Been running this for two weeks straight with glass-filled nylon. No clogs, no degradation in flow rate. Highly recommend for anyone doing engineering materials.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: Yes, the package includes one high-temperature silicone sock to help maintain thermal stability during printing.
Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-C version?
A: This specific model is designed for the X1C, P1P, and P1S. While physically similar, we recommend checking your firmware and specific heater cartridge requirements before installing on the non-C X1 model.
Q: Do I need to update my printer firmware before installing?
A: It is highly recommended to have the latest firmware installed to ensure the printer correctly recognizes the thermal properties and manages the heating profile for the upgraded assembly.
Q: Can I use this with standard PLA at low temperatures?
A: Absolutely. While optimized for high-temperature and abrasive materials, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, PETG, and other common filaments.
Q: How often do I need to replace the hardened steel nozzle?
A: Hardened steel nozzles are significantly more durable than brass. Under normal usage with abrasive filaments, they can last 5 to 10 times longer than standard nozzles, though inspection is recommended every few hundred hours.
