Solid performance, minor calibration needed

Perfect for abrasive filaments
Finally upgraded to the hardened steel hotend and it handles carbon fiber PLA without any wear. The installation on my X1C was straightforward and took less than 10 minutes.

Q: Is this compatible with the original Bambu Lab X1 non-C version?
A: This specific model is designed for the X1C, P1P, and P1S. While physically similar, we recommend checking your firmware and specific heater cartridge requirements before installing on the non-C X1 model.
Q: Do I need to update my printer firmware before installing?
A: It is highly recommended to have the latest firmware installed to ensure the printer correctly recognizes the thermal properties and manages the heating profile for the upgraded assembly.
Q: Can I use this with standard PLA at low temperatures?
A: Absolutely. While optimized for high-temperature and abrasive materials, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA, PETG, and other common filaments.
Q: How often do I need to replace the hardened steel nozzle?
