Best marker for rough surfaces

I needed something to mark concrete blocks for a landscaping job. Regular markers wouldn't show up, but this coarse tip deposited enough ink to be visible on the rough texture. It dried quickly and didn't smear when touched.

Good value for money

Does exactly what it says on the package. It dries fast and sticks to slippery surfaces like PVC pipes very well. I took off one star because the cap can be a bit tight to remove sometimes, but that also ensures the ink doesn't dry out.

Truly waterproof

Great ink flow, strong smell

The marker writes incredibly smoothly on almost any surface I've tried, including glass jars for my pantry. The only downside is the strong chemical odor, so I recommend using it in a well-ventilated area. Otherwise, it's a fantastic product.

Q: Can this marker be used on wet surfaces?

A: For best results, we recommend applying the marker to a clean, dry surface. While the ink is waterproof once dried, applying it to a wet surface may prevent proper adhesion and cause smearing.

Q: What is the shelf life of the marker if left unopened?

A: If stored horizontally in a cool, dry place with the cap tightly sealed, an unopened marker has a shelf life of approximately 2 to 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Q: Will this work on a whiteboard?

A: No, this is a permanent oil-based marker. It will leave permanent marks on whiteboards that are very difficult to remove. Please use a dedicated dry-erase marker for whiteboard surfaces.

Q: Is the ink toxic if it touches skin?

A: The ink is non-toxic once fully dried, but we advise avoiding prolonged skin contact while wet. If contact occurs, simply wash the area with soap and water or use rubbing alcohol to remove it.
