Reliable daily driver

Solid marker. Writes smoothly right out of the cap. I deducted one star only because the cap can be a bit tight to remove with gloved hands, but that also means it stays sealed well when not in use, preventing the ink from drying out.

Perfect for our warehouse needs

We go through hundreds of markers a month for labeling packages. These oil-based pens are fantastic. They write clearly on corrugated cardboard even if it's slightly dusty, and the ink dries instantly so there's no smudging when we stack boxes.

Fade resistant as advertised

We tested these against standard water-based markers by leaving them in direct sunlight for two weeks. The black ink on these oil pens remained crisp and dark, while the others faded significantly. Worth the investment for long-term storage labeling.

Great ink flow, strong smell

The performance is excellent. It writes on plastic wrap and metal surfaces without skipping. My only note is that the oil-based ink has a strong odor, so I make sure to use it in a ventilated area. Otherwise, highly recommended for industrial use.

Versatile beyond just shipping

Bought these for logistics but found they work great on garden stakes and outdoor equipment too. The tip is durable and hasn't frayed even after heavy use on rough surfaces. The clip on the cap is sturdy enough to hold onto a pocket.

Bold and durable lines

I use these for marking shipping containers for my small business. The thick tip makes very bold lines that are easy to read from a distance. The waterproof feature is a lifesaver when packages get left out in the rain.

Q: Is the ink toxic if it gets on skin?

A: While the ink is non-toxic once dry, it is oil-based and can be difficult to wash off with just water. We recommend using soap and water or an alcohol-based wipe for removal. Avoid contact with eyes.

Q: Will the ink bleed through thin paper labels?

A: Because it is a quick-drying oil formula, bleeding is minimal compared to solvent markers. However, on very thin or low-quality paper, some show-through may occur. It performs best on standard cardboard and thicker label stock.

Q: Can this marker write on glossy plastic shipping bags?

A: Yes, the oil-based formula is specifically designed to adhere to non-porous surfaces like glossy plastic, metal, and glass without smearing.

Q: How long does the tip last under heavy usage?

A: Under normal warehouse conditions, a single pen typically lasts for several hundred linear feet of marking. The thick tip is reinforced to resist fraying on rough cardboard surfaces.

Q: Does this come in other colors besides black?

A: This specific model is specialized for high-contrast logistics marking and is currently only available in Black. Please check our store for other marker series that offer red or blue options.
