Works flawlessly on Ubuntu

Instant upgrade for my old desktop

Smooth 4K streaming
I use this primarily for streaming 4K content on my media center PC. It handles high bitrate files without buffering. The USB extension cradle included in the box is very useful for positioning the antenna for better reception.

Great signal strength, slight heat
The 5dBi antenna really makes a difference; I get strong signals even from the router in the other room. Gaming latency is low on the 5GHz band. The only minor issue is that the adapter gets a bit warm after several hours of use, but it hasn't affected performance.
