Solved my clogging issues
I was constantly clogging with the standard brass nozzle when using glow-in-the-dark PLA. This TZ4.0 assembly with the hardened steel nozzle has completely eliminated clogs. Highly recommended for specialty filaments.

Great performance, slightly tight fit
The print quality improved immediately, especially with high-temperature materials. The only reason for 4 stars is that the assembly felt a bit tight going into the toolhead, but once seated, it works flawlessly.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
Switched to this hardened steel nozzle assembly specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon. The print quality is exceptional, and the metal throat handles the heat much better than the stock version. Installation on my X1 Carbon was straightforward.

Essential for engineering materials
If you plan on printing anything other than basic PLA, get this upgrade. The hardened steel nozzle lasts much longer, and the heat break design prevents jams during long prints. Very satisfied.

Good but requires calibration
The hardware is excellent, but I had to re-run the flow rate calibration and pressure advance tuning to get optimal results. Once tuned, prints are great, but expect to spend some time dialing it in.

Solid build quality
Feels very premium compared to the original part. The integrated metal throat seems much more durable. My P1S is running hotter filaments without any thermal creep issues now.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this TZ4.0 assembly is designed specifically for the X1, X1 Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. The A1 and A1 mini use a different hotend architecture.
Q: Does this come with a 0.4mm nozzle installed?
A: Yes, the assembly comes pre-installed with a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. It is ready to mount and print immediately after installation.
Q: What is the maximum continuous operating temperature?
A: This assembly is rated for continuous operation up to 300°C, making it suitable for most engineering-grade filaments like Polycarbonate and Nylon.
Q: How difficult is the installation process?
A: It is relatively easy if you have basic tools. You will need to remove the old hotend, disconnect the fan and heater wires, and screw in the new assembly. We recommend watching our official installation video guide before starting.
Q: Can I use this with standard PLA at lower temperatures?
A: Absolutely. While optimized for high-temp and abrasive filaments, it works perfectly fine with standard PLA. You may just need to adjust your temperature profile slightly as hardened steel conducts heat differently than brass.
