Solved my clogging issues
I was constantly clogging with the stock hotend when using glitter PLA. This TZ4.0 upgrade completely eliminated the jams. The integrated metal throat makes a huge difference in heat creep resistance.

Solid construction
Very impressed with the machining quality. Everything fits perfectly without any gaps. It runs slightly hotter than the standard unit, so ensure your part cooling is optimized, but the durability is worth it.

Good value for money
Cheaper than buying the official Bambu Lab high-temp hotend and performs just as well for my needs. Printing ABS has never been more reliable. Took off one star because the instructions could be clearer.

Perfect upgrade for abrasive filaments
Switched to this hardened steel assembly specifically for printing carbon fiber nylon. The flow is consistent and the metal throat handles the heat much better than the stock PTFE lined version. Installation was straightforward on my X1C.

Great quality but needs tuning
The build quality is excellent and feels very sturdy. I did have to recalibrate my pressure advance settings after swapping, but once dialed in, the print quality is superb. Highly recommend for advanced users.

Essential for engineering materials
If you plan to print anything other than basic PLA, get this. The hardened steel nozzle lasts forever compared to brass, and the all-metal path allows for higher temperature printing safely.
Q: Can this handle PC (Polycarbonate) filament?
A: Yes, the hardened steel nozzle and metal throat can withstand the temperatures required for Polycarbonate. However, ensure your enclosure is heated to prevent warping.
Q: What is the diameter of the nozzle included?
A: The standard configuration comes with a 0.4mm hardened steel nozzle. Other sizes may be available as separate add-ons depending on stock.
Q: Is this compatible with the Bambu Lab A1 mini?
A: No, this TZ4.0 assembly is designed specifically for the X1, X1 Carbon, P1P, and P1S series. The A1 mini uses a different extruder architecture.
Q: Do I need to update my firmware before installing?
A: Firmware update is not strictly required, but we recommend running the latest version to ensure optimal temperature control and calibration features are available.
Q: Does it come with a silicone sock?
