Perfect for outdoor use
Installed these on an exterior metal gate six months ago. Despite rain and humidity, there is zero sign of rust. Highly recommend for outdoor industrial applications.
Q: What is the exact distance between the mounting holes?
A: The center-to-center distance between the mounting holes is 75mm vertically and 50mm horizontally. Please refer to the technical diagram in the product manual.
Q: Do these come with a self-closing mechanism?
A: No, these are standard heavy-duty hinges without a self-closing spring mechanism. You would need to purchase a separate door closer if that feature is required.
Q: Can these be welded directly to the frame instead of bolted?
A: While they are designed for bolting, they are made of weldable 304 stainless steel. However, welding may affect the corrosion resistance near the weld zone and could void the warranty.
Q: Is the pin removable for easy door installation?
A: Yes, the pin is removable. We recommend lifting the door slightly to remove the pin during installation or maintenance.
Q: Are these hinges suitable for a 200kg door if I use three pairs?
A: Yes, using three pairs would distribute the load effectively, provided the door frame is reinforced to handle the total weight and torque.
