Healthy and robust sapling!
Arrived in perfect condition with lush green leaves. The graft union looks very strong, and it's already showing new growth after just two weeks in my yard.

Great quality, careful shipping needed
The tree itself is beautiful and exactly as described. One leaf was slightly crushed during transit, but the plant recovered quickly. Excited to see fruit soon.

Thriving in Zone 9
Planted this in my Zone 9 garden three months ago. It has adapted wonderfully and is putting out vigorous new shoots. The size was impressive right out of the box.

Fast grower and beautiful foliage
The leaves are a deep, rich green and very glossy. It's growing faster than my other fruit trees. Looking forward to harvesting sweet loquats this coming season.

Good value for an extra large plant
The pot is substantial and the root system seems well-established. It's a bit pricey compared to smaller saplings, but you get what you pay for in terms of maturity.

Best loquat I've purchased
I have bought several fruit trees online, and this is by far the healthiest. The seedless variety is a huge plus for eating fresh. Highly recommend!
Q: Can I keep this tree in a container permanently or must it be planted in the ground?
A: While it comes in a large pot, loquat trees can grow quite large. You can keep it in a container for several years if you use a very large planter and prune regularly, but planting in the ground is recommended for maximum fruit production.
Q: Does this tree require pollination from another tree to produce fruit?
A: Loquat trees are generally self-fertile, so this single sapling should be able to produce fruit on its own without a partner tree.
Q: What kind of fertilizer should I use for this tree?
A: We recommend using a balanced, slow-release fertilizer formulated for fruit trees or citrus. Apply according to the package instructions during the active growing season.
Q: When is the best time of year to plant this sapling?
A: The ideal time to plant is in early spring after the last frost or in early fall. This allows the roots to establish before the extreme heat of summer or the cold of winter.
Q: How cold hardy is this specific variety?
A: The Seedless Sugar Loquat is best suited for USDA Zones 8-10. It can tolerate brief dips to around 15°F (-9°C), but young trees should be protected from hard freezes.
