Solid choice for intermediates
Bought this for my daughter who has been playing for two years. She loves the fuller sound compared to her starter guitar. The neck profile is comfortable for smaller hands. Delivery was fast and packaging was secure.

Great value, minor setup needed
Excellent guitar for the price point. The build quality is solid as expected from Yamaha. I did have to lower the action slightly out of the box, but once set up, it plays beautifully. The electronics sound clear when amplified.

Perfect first serious guitar
I upgraded from a cheap laminate guitar to this FG830, and the difference is night and day. The solid spruce top gives it such a rich, warm tone that just gets better every time I play it. Highly recommended for beginners ready to step up.

Beautiful craftsmanship
Not only does it sound great, but it looks stunning too. The natural gloss finish highlights the wood grain perfectly. It feels comfortable to hold even during long practice sessions. A true classic design.

Best in its class

Amazing sound quality
The resonance on this instrument is incredible. Even without plugging it in, it fills the room. The rosewood back and sides add a nice depth to the bass notes. Very happy with this purchase from the official store.
