Worth every penny
As an instructor, I recommend this model to all my advanced students. The intonation is precise right out of the box, and the pearwood soundboard provides excellent projection in larger halls.

Beautiful aesthetic and sound
The dragon embossing is meticulously done. Sonically, it handles fast passages effortlessly. The action on the bridges is smooth, making tuning adjustments very easy during practice sessions.

Stunning craftsmanship for professional use
I purchased this for my conservatory exams and the tone is incredibly rich. The African Rosewood gives it a deep resonance that cheaper models lack. The embossed dragon detail is beautiful without being distracting.

Excellent quality control
Very impressed with the build quality. No sharp edges on the bridges and the strings were well-installed. It took a few days to settle in tune, which is normal for new high-quality instruments.

Great instrument, heavy case
The Yangqin itself is flawless with a warm, sustaining tone. My only minor complaint is that the hard case is quite heavy to carry around for long distances, but it offers great protection.
