Professional grade indeed

Good quality, slightly stiff at first
The craftsmanship is excellent. They felt a bit stiff during the first practice session but broke in nicely after an hour of playing. Very satisfied with the purchase.

Perfect balance and tone
These mallets produce a incredibly warm sound on my 402 Yangqin. The weight distribution is perfect for fast passages, and the leather tube is a lovely touch for protection.

Great for travel

Solid performance mallets
Very responsive and comfortable to hold for long practice sessions. The only reason for 4 stars is that I wish they came in a hard hardness option as well.
Q: Can I replace the felt tips if they wear out?
A: The felt tips are glued securely for durability. While not officially designed for user replacement, a local instrument repair shop can re-tip them if necessary.
Q: Do these come in different colors?
A: Currently, this model is only available in the natural bamboo finish with brown felt tips and a tan leather case to maintain a classic aesthetic.
Q: Are these mallets suitable for a beginner student?
A: Yes, while designed for professionals, their balanced weight and medium-soft tips make them very forgiving and excellent for students learning proper technique.
Q: Is the leather case water-resistant?
A: The genuine leather offers some resistance to light moisture, but we recommend keeping it dry and avoiding exposure to heavy rain to preserve the material.
