Excellent projection
I needed an instrument that could be heard in a small ensemble without amplification. The Minyin 402 projects beautifully. The mallets included are decent quality too.

Perfect for my music exams
I bought the Rosewood version for my conservatory entrance exam. The tone is incredibly clear and sustains well. It arrived perfectly tuned and the case is sturdy enough for travel.

Great value for beginners

Beautiful craftsmanship
The Pearwood finish is stunning in person. The bridges are set precisely, making intonation very stable. It sounds much more expensive than it is.
Q: How often does this yangqin need to be restrung?
A: With regular practice, strings typically last 6 to 12 months. We recommend keeping a spare set of strings on hand, which can be purchased separately in our accessories section.
Q: Does this come with a stand or do I need to buy one separately?
A: The Minyin 402 typically comes with a folding wooden stand included in the carrying case, but please check the specific listing options as some bundles may vary.
Q: Can I use metal mallets with this instrument?
