Accurate and reliable
I compared the readings against our old mechanical beam scale and the DGM-300 was consistent every time. The digital readout makes recording data much faster for our staff.

Solid build quality
Very sturdy scale with a clear display. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the voice announcement feature could be slightly louder in a noisy gym environment. Otherwise, excellent value.

Perfect for our clinic
We purchased the DGM-300 for our pediatric wing and it has been fantastic. The ultrasonic height measurement is quick and accurate, which is great when dealing with restless children. Setup was straightforward.
Q: Is the RS-232 interface compatible with modern computers?
A: The native output is RS-232. To connect to modern laptops or PCs without serial ports, you will need a USB-to-Serial adapter, which is widely available.
Q: How often does the device need calibration?
A: For general commercial use, we recommend annual calibration. However, if the scale is moved frequently or used in high-volume environments, checking calibration every 6 months is advisable.
Q: Does this scale require assembly upon delivery?
A: The DGM-300 arrives mostly pre-assembled. You typically only need to attach the display pole to the base platform using the provided tools, which takes about 10 minutes.
Q: Can the unit switch between metric and imperial units?
A: Yes, the DGM-300 allows you to easily toggle between kilograms/pounds and centimeters/inches via the settings menu on the control panel.
Q: What happens if the ultrasonic sensor is blocked?
A: If the sensor path is obstructed during measurement, the display will show an error code (usually 'Err') prompting the user to ensure the area above the platform is clear before retrying.
