Good quality, slightly rough finish

The galvanization is very durable, which is exactly what we needed for our coastal fencing. The finish is a bit rougher than electroplated options, but that is expected with HDG.

A: While physically compatible, we generally recommend pairing hot-dip galvanized washers with galvanized bolts to prevent galvanic corrosion. If used with stainless steel, ensure proper isolation or consult an engineer.

Q: Can these be used in submerged water applications?

A: Hot-dip galvanization offers superior corrosion resistance, but for continuous submerged applications, additional protective measures or specific marine-grade alloys might be recommended depending on water salinity.

Q: What is the lead time for M39 and M48 sizes?

A: Standard sizes like M8 to M22 are usually in stock. Larger sizes such as M39 and M48 may require 5-7 business days for manufacturing and coating depending on current inventory levels.

Q: Does the hot-dip process affect the thread fit?

A: These are spring washers, so they do not have threads. However, the coating thickness is accounted for in the inner diameter to ensure they fit smoothly over Grade 8.8 bolts without binding.
