Good value, needs minor setup
The bow itself is lovely, but the hair was a bit loose upon arrival. I took it to my luthier for a quick rehair and adjustment, and now it plays beautifully. Just be prepared for potential minor setup tweaks.

Professional quality

Great upgrade from carbon fiber
Switching back to wood after years on carbon fiber. This bow has a rich tone and the horsehair grips the strings nicely. Took off one star because the screw felt a bit stiff initially, but it loosened up after a few uses.

Excellent balance for the price
I purchased the 4/4 size for my advanced student, and the balance is remarkable. The Brazilian rosewood gives it a nice warmth without being too heavy. It responds well to both legato and spiccato strokes.

Perfect for my 1/2 size violin
Bought the 1/2 size for my daughter. It is lightweight enough for her small hands but sturdy enough to produce a full sound. The craftsmanship on the frog is beautiful.
