The weight adds to the realism and stability, making them hard to steal or move by wind. Just be prepared to do some digging if you want them fully flush with the ground. Sound dispersion is wide and even.

Exceeded expectations for outdoor events
Used these for an outdoor wedding reception in the park. They provided ample volume for speech and soft jazz without distorting. Guests thought they were decorative rocks until the music started. Highly recommended.

A: For runs exceeding 50 meters, we recommend using 14-gauge or 12-gauge speaker wire to minimize signal loss and ensure optimal power delivery to the speaker.
Q: Is an external amplifier required?
A: Yes, the LS-501 is a passive speaker and requires an external amplifier or a constant voltage mixer amplifier (70V/100V line with a matching transformer) to operate.
Q: Does the color fade after prolonged exposure to UV rays?
A: The artificial stone material includes UV stabilizers to prevent significant fading. While minor weathering may occur over several years, the color remains consistent with natural stone aging.
Q: Can I paint these rocks to match my specific garden stones?
A: While technically possible, we do not recommend painting them as it may affect the breathability of the material and void the weatherproof warranty. We offer several standard stone finishes that match most common landscaping types.
Q: Can these speakers be completely submerged underwater?
A: No, while the LS-501 has an IP65 rating which protects against water jets and heavy rain, it is not designed for continuous submersion. They should be installed above the water line or in well-drained soil.
