Loud and clear
Great volume for public announcements at our community park. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the mounting bracket could be slightly more robust, but overall it works perfectly for our needs.

Survived a harsh winter

Excellent value for money

Perfect for our sports field
We installed four of these around our high school football field. The clarity is excellent even from a distance, and they have survived several heavy rainstorms without any issues. Highly recommended for outdoor venues.

Good range, slight distortion at max
Works great at 80% volume with very clear audio. If you push it to 100%, there is a tiny bit of distortion, but honestly, it's already louder than necessary for most applications. Very satisfied.
Q: Does this unit come with a built-in amplifier?
A: No, this is a passive speaker and requires an external amplifier or mixer with sufficient power output to drive it effectively.
Q: How do I clean the speaker if it gets muddy?
A: Since it is IP66 rated, you can safely rinse it with a garden hose. For stubborn dirt, use a soft cloth with mild soapy water, then rinse thoroughly.
Q: Can this speaker be connected directly to a standard home stereo receiver?
A: Yes, provided your receiver supports an 8-ohm load. You will need to run speaker wire from the receiver to the spring-loaded terminals on the back of the horn.
Q: What is the maximum cable length recommended for optimal performance?
A: For 8-ohm operation, we recommend keeping cable runs under 50 feet to prevent signal loss. For longer distances, consider using a constant voltage transformer setup.
Q: Is the mounting bracket suitable for pole mounting?
A: Absolutely. The included U-bracket has standard hole spacing that fits most universal pole mount adapters, or it can be screwed directly into a wooden or metal pole.
