Great sound, easy install
Installation was straightforward with the provided template. The 8-ohm impedance matched our existing amplifier perfectly. Only wish the grille was slightly easier to paint.

A: For 8-ohm loads with cable runs up to 50 feet, we recommend using 16-gauge speaker wire to minimize signal loss and ensure optimal power transfer.
Q: Does this unit come with a back-can for fire rating compliance?
A: The standard package includes the speaker and grille. Fire-rated back-cans are sold separately to meet specific local building codes and fire safety requirements.
Q: What is the maximum thickness of the ceiling tile these can mount to?
A: The mounting clamps are adjustable and can accommodate ceiling materials ranging from 10mm to 30mm in thickness.
Q: Can these speakers be used with a 70V distributed audio system?
A: No, the BT-418 is designed specifically for low impedance (8 Ohm) direct drive systems. For 70V systems, you would need an external step-up transformer or a model with a built-in transformer.
Q: Is the grille removable for painting before installation?
