Good quality but fan is loud
The heating block and nozzle work great, producing smooth layers. However, the included cooling fan is slightly louder than the stock one. Still a solid purchase for the price.

Solid construction
The machining on the aluminum block is precise. Fits perfectly into the carriage without any wobble. Heating up to 240C quickly and holding temp steady.

Saved my printer

Works but instructions missing
The part itself works fine, but there were no installation instructions included. Had to watch a YouTube video to figure out the wiring order. Would be 5 stars with a manual.

Perfect replacement for my CR-6 SE
My original hotend started clogging frequently, so I ordered this upgrade. Installation was straightforward, and the print quality improved immediately. Temperature stability is excellent.

Great upgrade
Switched from PLA to PETG and this hotend handles the higher temperatures effortlessly. No oozing or stringing issues since the swap.
Q: Can I use 3mm filament with this?
A: No, this extruder and hotend assembly is strictly designed for 1.75mm filament. Using 3mm filament will cause jams and potential damage.
Q: What is the maximum temperature this hotend can sustain?
A: The heater cartridge and thermistor are rated for continuous operation up to 260°C, suitable for most common filaments like PLA, PETG, and ABS.
Q: Is this compatible with the original CR-6 or only the SE version?
A: This assembly is specifically designed for the CR-6 SE model. While it may fit the original CR-6 with modifications, we recommend checking your specific carriage mounting points before purchasing.
