Great durability, steep learning curve
Bought these for my sprinters. They are durable and provide amazing pop, but athletes need a few sessions to get used to the aggressive rocker geometry. Not for beginners.

Game changer for the 100m
The energy return on these is incredible. The new colorway looks sharp on the track, and the carbon plate feels snappier than the original Maxfly. Shaved 0.2s off my PB immediately.

Premium price, premium performance
They are expensive, but if you are serious about competition, they are worth every penny. Just make sure to break them in before race day.

Perfect fit for wide feet
I was worried about the narrow fit common in spikes, but the AtomKnit upper stretches just enough. The air cushion in the heel makes the drive phase feel effortless.

Best spikes I've ever owned
The traction is unmatched on wet or dry synthetic surfaces. The spike pins lock in securely, and the foam doesn't bottom out even after hard training sessions.

Lightweight and responsive
You barely feel them on your feet until you explode out of the blocks. The 2026 colorway is vibrant and hasn't faded after multiple meets in the sun.
Q: Can these be used for long jump or triple jump events?
A: While primarily designed for sprints (60m-400m), many athletes use them for horizontal jumps due to the responsive plate. However, dedicated jump spikes may offer better heel stability for takeoff.
Q: Do these come with the spike wrench and extra pins?
A: Yes, the Nike Maxfly 2 includes a multi-tool wrench and a set of six replacement 6mm spikes in the box.
Q: Are these suitable for grass or dirt tracks?
A: No, these spikes are engineered specifically for synthetic all-weather tracks. Using them on grass or dirt may damage the plate and void the warranty.
Q: How does the sizing compare to standard Nike running shoes?
A: We recommend ordering your standard track spike size. If you typically wear road running shoes, consider going down half a size as the fit is snug for performance.
Q: Is the Air Cushion unit visible on the outside of the shoe?
A: The Air unit is integrated within the midsole stack under the ZoomX foam and is not externally visible, maintaining a sleek aerodynamic profile.
