Sturdy construction
My son tends to be rough with his supplies, but this sharpener has held up perfectly for six months. The chip container is easy to empty.

Perfect for my daughter's desk

Decent but noisy

Classic design that lasts
Reminds me of the ones we had in school years ago. The steel blade stays sharp for a long time, and it handles colored pencils reasonably well too.

Good value, works well
Does the job quickly without breaking pencil leads. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the suction cup on the bottom could be a bit stronger for very vigorous cranking.

Great for art class
Bought three of these for our homeschool art station. They are portable enough to take on trips but stable enough to stay on the table. Highly recommend!
