Easy to clean
I was worried about cleaning such a fine mesh, but it rinses out very easily under running water. No scrubbing required. Highly recommend for daily use.

Great quality, slightly large
The stainless steel feels very durable and heavy-duty. My only minor complaint is that it is slightly too wide for my smaller ceramic teapot, but it works perfectly in my glass pitcher.

Essential accessory
If you are serious about tea, you need this. The build quality is superior to the plastic ones I used to buy. It looks elegant and functions flawlessly.

Good but not universal
The quality is excellent, but please measure your teapot opening before buying. It didn't fit snugly in my specific brand of teapot, though it works well as a standalone strainer over a mug.

No more loose leaves!
I drink a lot of loose leaf oolong and this strainer is a game changer. The mesh is fine enough to stop small broken leaves but allows water to flow through quickly so the tea doesn't get bitter.

Perfect fit for my Gaiwan
This mesh filter is exactly what I needed for my Kung Fu tea sessions. The double layer catches even the tiniest tea dust, resulting in a very clear cup. It sits securely in my fair cup without slipping.
Q: What are the exact dimensions?
A: The top diameter is approximately 3.1 inches (8cm) and the height is 2.5 inches (6.5cm). Please check your vessel's internal width before ordering.
Q: Will this fit a standard 200ml Gaiwan?
A: Yes, the diameter is designed to fit most standard 150ml to 250ml Gaiwans and fair cups comfortably.
Q: Can I use this for herbal teas with very small particles?
A: Absolutely. The ultra-fine double mesh is specifically engineered to catch small particles like rooibos dust or broken herbal leaves.
Q: Is the handle removable?
A: This model is a built-in inner filter without a separate handle; it rests on the rim of your vessel. It is not designed to be held by hand while pouring.
Q: Does it rust after repeated washing?
A: No, it is made from 304 food-grade stainless steel which is highly resistant to rust and corrosion, even with daily dishwasher use.
