Best strainer I've owned
I have tried many strainers over the years, and this is by far the best. The combination of wood and steel is not only beautiful but also practical as the wood doesn't get hot to the touch.

Sturdy and elegant
Very well made. The metal is thick and doesn't bend easily. The only minor issue is that it might be slightly large for very narrow travel mugs, but fits standard cups perfectly.

Great filter, handle needs care
The filtration is excellent; no leaves escape into my cup. I deducted one star only because the wooden handle requires hand washing to maintain its finish, but that is expected with natural wood.

Beautiful craftsmanship and functional
This tea strainer is absolutely gorgeous. The walnut wood handle feels warm and comfortable in the hand, while the stainless steel mesh is fine enough to catch even small tea dust. It elevates my morning ritual significantly.

Perfect for loose leaf tea
I brew a lot of oolong and green tea, and this infuser works perfectly. It sits securely on various cup sizes and the flow rate is just right—not too fast, not too slow.
Q: What is the micron size of the mesh?
A: We do not specify an exact micron rating, but the mesh is ultra-fine and specifically engineered to filter out fine tea dust and small broken leaves commonly found in high-quality loose leaf teas.
Q: Will this fit on a standard 10oz coffee mug?
A: Absolutely. The rim diameter is designed to rest securely on most standard mugs, teapots, and gaiwans ranging from 8oz to 12oz.
Q: Is the wood handle treated to prevent water damage?
A: Yes, the walnut wood handle is treated with a food-safe oil finish to resist moisture, though we recommend hand washing and drying it immediately after use to prolong its life.
Q: Does the handle get hot when steeping with boiling water?
A: No, one of the benefits of the walnut wood handle is that it remains cool to the touch even when the metal mesh is submerged in boiling water, ensuring a safe and comfortable grip.
Q: Can I put this in the dishwasher?
A: While the 304 stainless steel mesh is dishwasher safe, we strongly advise against putting the entire unit in the dishwasher as the high heat and detergents can damage the walnut wood handle.
