Lovely color match
The earthy brown matches my dark clay pot perfectly. The only reason for 4 stars is that the loop could be slightly larger for thicker lid knobs, but it still works.

Adds a nice weight to the lid
Not only is it decorative, but the slight added weight makes lifting the hot lid much easier and safer. Very practical and beautiful.

Beautiful but slightly stiff at first
The craftsmanship is undeniable. It was a bit stiff when I first got it, but after a few uses, the cord softened up nicely. Looks great in my tea ceremony setup.
Q: Is this suitable for glass teapots as well?
A: While designed for purple clay, it can be used on glass teapots provided the lid has a compatible knob. However, ensure the charm does not scratch the glass surface.
Q: How do I attach this to the lid?
A: Simply slip the loop over the lid's knob. The friction and the slight weight of the charm will keep it securely in place during pouring.
Q: Is the cord heat resistant?
A: The cotton cord is durable, but we recommend avoiding direct contact with boiling water for extended periods to preserve the color and integrity of the weave.
Q: Will this fit a teapot lid with a very small knob?
A: Yes, the loop is adjustable and designed to accommodate various knob sizes, including smaller ones typical of traditional Zisha teapots.
Q: Can I choose the specific shade of red?
A: Currently, we offer 'Deep Red' as a standard option. While slight variations occur due to the hand-dyed nature of the product, specific custom shades are not available at this time.
